Wether you're tearing up the interstate or running errands close
to home, the new 2008 2009 Dodge Stratus RT offers something for
everyone. The new 2008 2009 Dodge Stratus RT just might be the most
practical car on the road today. This year's Stratus is available
in a number of models, including:
- Stratus SXT Sedan
- SE Sedan
- ES Sedan
- R/T Sedan
- SXT Coupe
- Stratus R/T Coupe
If you're looking to make your 2008 2009 Dodge Stratus RT even
more stylish, there are a number of Stratus body kits available,
too.
Just as there are a number of different Stratus models,
there are a number of different Stratus engines, too:
- Stratus SXT Coupe powers up with a standard 2.4-liter
16-valve I-4 SOHC engine that produces 147 horsepower at
5,500 rpm with a five- speed manual transaxle
- Stratus R/T delivers with a 3.0-liter V6 SOHC engine
producing 200 horsepower at 5,500 rpm, and the five-speed
manual transaxle
- With the Stratus SXT Sedan, the 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC
offers 150 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 167 pounds-per-foot
of torque at 4,000 rpm.
- On the Stratus SE, ES and R/T Sedan models, the engine
is a 2.7- liter V6 with 200 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and
190 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,850 rpm.
All six of the vehicles come with power assisted rack-and-pinion
steering, and S/T models are available with clutchless AutoStick
Driver- Interactive Transaxle Shifter for easier shifting
in every condition. Throw in a couple of optional Stratus
accessories, and you'll be cruising in style.
Did somebody say style? In addition to all of the available
Stratus body kits on the market today, the Stratus comes standard
with quite a number of eye-catching features. On Stratus Sedan
models, for instance, the car's Wind and Water Management
System plays a major role in exterior design, including aerodynamically
shaped side mirrors for less wind resistance, a cowl screen
that drives the airflow over the wiper blades for wind noise
management, and cube-shaped "A" pillars to lessen wind noise
inside the vehicle. On both coupe and sedan iterations, interior
features include amenities such as:
- Speed control
- Rear heat ducts
- Available leather-trimmed seating with Preferred Suede
Accents
- Available six-way power driver's seat.
With all of these features, you may decide you don't need
a Stratus body kit? That choice, however, is up to you.
Another popular Stratus part is the attention this car pays
to safety. No matter which of the Stratus vehicles you buy,
your car will come standard with Low-Speed Traction Control,
Next Generation airbags, Sentry Key Engine Immobilizer, LATCH
Child Seat Anchor System, and optional side-curtain airbags,
to name a few. What's more, with safety- conscious Stratus
accessories such as antilock brakes and Vehicle Skid Control,
you can make your car even safer. To learn more about these
options, or to get all of the latest information on those
Stratus body kits, we encourage you to check back here often.
